Akeem Jamall Brett sensed his call to ministry as a teenager from reading books like the Bible and Messages to Young People and seeing how God wants to use the youth to finish the work of the gospel in the entire world.
He is born and raised in an Adventist Christian home in Connecticut to his parents who set an example for him by starting a church in the basement of his house when he was only 8 years old.
Over the years, the membership grew from 15 people to over 100 and Akeem believes that God was showing him at that tender age what God was calling him to do in the future. Sensing Gods call on his life through prayer, Bible studies, the Holy Spirits impression on his heart and day by day interaction with people, Akeem pursued studying for the ministry and attended Atlantic Union College where he received his Theology degree.
After school, The Lord called Akeem to work as an the Associate Youth Pastor/Bible worker under Northern New England Conference in Maine and New Hampshire where he worked with young people, teaching them how to have a relationship with Jesus as well as training them for service.
He’s has served in various lines of ministry such as Bible worker, Colporteurer, evangelist, associate pastor and even started campus ministries at the University of New Hampshire. His work has been anointed by God through revivals and baptisms. He is known for his timely powerful Gospel presentations on Salvation, Practical Godliness, Health and Prophecy. Many have been blessed through his message and ministry.
